The Purpose of the blog is to point back to God with a Christ-centered life. It's name, "Towards The Heartbeat" is drawn from Sacred Heartbeat,  a prayerful poem and the genesis post for this blog. It's a love song from me to God, and from God to me, about how all the cosmos whispers his message of love to our hearts.

Some posts will be poems, some will be prayer and worship, some will just be thoughts on things that are going on in my life or in the news. I hope, by exploring in prayer, writing, and daily living, I will find other ways that Christ is drawing us to himself. Its a learning experience, being Catholic, and I doubt I will ever finish learning how to live out.
